 When One-on-One Makes Sense

A More Individual Start for
a Specific Need.

Small Group Personal Training is the primary adult service at Revolution. One-on-one training is recommended only when a coach believes a more private or specialized format will help someone start better.

01

You Need More Privacy

A quieter, more private setting can make the first phase feel more manageable for someone who is highly uncomfortable, intimidated, or not ready for a group environment.

02

You Need Closer Coaching

Some people benefit from more frequent feedback, more time learning movement patterns, or a slower progression before adding the energy of a group.

03

You Need a Specialized Start

A coach may recommend one-on-one work when goals, current ability, schedule, or training needs call for a more individual starting point.

 The Recommendation Comes First

You Do Not Choose the Format.
We Help Choose the Right Start.

Revolution begins by understanding the person. A coach learns about your goals, experience, concerns, schedule, and current ability, then recommends the format that makes the most sense.

For most adults: Small Group Personal Training remains the primary recommendation.
When more privacy is needed: One-on-one can create a better starting environment.
When more individual teaching is needed: Sessions can slow down and focus on specific skills.
When the next step changes: The coaching format can change as confidence and ability improve.

 What Changes in One-on-One

More Time on the Details
That Matter to You.

Select a coaching focus to see how the private format changes the experience.

 More Feedback Per Session

Every Rep Gets More Time, Observation, and Coaching.

The coach has more room to watch closely, explain the reason behind the movement, and adjust the session in real time.

More frequent technique feedbackMore time for questionsCloser exercise adjustmentsMore deliberate skill practice
 A Pace Built Around You

Slow Down, Learn the Skill, Then Add the Challenge.

The session can spend more time on a specific movement, repeat a teaching point, or adjust the plan without needing to match anyone else's pace.

 A Quieter Starting Environment

Build Confidence Without Feeling Watched or Rushed.

A private setting can help someone who feels highly intimidated, self-conscious, or not yet ready for a group environment focus on learning.

 A Clear Path Forward

Use Private Training to Build the Skills Needed for the Next Step.

One-on-one can remain the right format, or it can help prepare someone to move into Small Group Personal Training when the time is right.

 The One-on-One Process

A Private Start With
a Clear Purpose.

01

Start With a Conversation

A coach learns about your goals, training history, concerns, schedule, and what has made starting difficult.

02

Confirm the Right Fit

One-on-one is recommended only when the private format is likely to serve you better than the primary Small Group path.

03

Coach the Details

Sessions focus on movement quality, appropriate challenge, confidence, and the skills you need to progress.

04

Review the Next Step

The coach continues to assess whether one-on-one remains the right format or whether another path now makes more sense.

The Format Can Change.
The Coaching Standard Does Not.

One-on-one training is not a disconnected service. It follows the same Revolution philosophy: understand the person, recommend the right start, coach the individual in front of us, and keep adjusting as progress is made.

Clear instruction instead of random workouts.
Progressions and regressions based on the member.
Accountability and ongoing progress reviews.
A long-term plan instead of an endless private-training dependency.

 Coaching, Not Just Supervision

A Coach Who Pays Attention to
the Person in Front of Him.

Private training only works when the extra attention is used well. The goal is not simply to stand beside you while you exercise. It is to observe, teach, adjust, and help you build confidence in what you are doing.

The Goal Is Progress, Not Permanent Dependence.

For some members, one-on-one may remain the right long-term format. For others, it may serve as a bridge into Small Group Personal Training once they have the confidence, movement skill, and comfort to move forward.

 Common Questions

Know What to Expect
Before You Begin.

Is one-on-one personal training the main adult program?+

No. Small Group Personal Training is the primary adult service at Revolution. One-on-one is reserved for situations where a more private or specialized starting point is professionally recommended.

Is one-on-one included in the 9-Day Jumpstart?+

No. The 9-Day Jumpstart includes an initial consultation, Small Group Personal Training access, Les Mills class access, and a personalized next-step recommendation. Private one-on-one training is a separate service with an additional charge.

Can a complete beginner start one-on-one?+

Yes, when a coach believes the private format is the most appropriate starting point. Beginners can also start successfully in Small Group Personal Training, so the recommendation depends on the individual.

Do I have to move into Small Group Personal Training later?+

No automatic transition is required. The next step should be based on progress, goals, comfort, and the professional recommendation of the coach.

How do I know whether I need one-on-one training?+

Start with a conversation. A Revolution coach can learn more about you and recommend the format that best matches your current needs.
